SUBSTANCE: gasket is inserted between contact surfaces of the first and the second contacting materials that undergo abrasive wear and are affected by wear. The gasket has sliding and vibrating surfaces that have much higher strength than, at least, one of the contacting surfaces of the first contacting material and the second contacting material. Sliding and vibrating surfaces of the gasket have much lower friction coefficient and more smooth surface in comparison to, at least, one of the contacting surfaces of the first contacting material and the second contacting material.

EFFECT: wear of contact surfaces of the first and the second contacting materials is made more difficult.
