FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used during manufacture of turbine and compressor blades of gas-turbine engines (GTE), as well as for checking other parts having the surface with complex profile. Essence of the invention consists in the following: method involves installation of the investigated workpiece into checkout device, its fixation, comparison of the profile of the investigated workpiece with the specified profile by laying those profiles one on the other; and if they do not coincide, translational and angular movements of the investigated workpiece and checkout of movement value shall be performed. Usability of the workpiece is judged by the matching ability of profiles. At that, profile of investigated workpiece and the specified profile are displayed on the monitor screen as per the data received from contactless laser measuring unit. In case of misalignment of the profiles, translational and angular movements are performed in three-dimensional space till alignment of profiles on the monitor screen within the limits of allowable deviations is achieved, installation coordinates of the checked-out workpiece are recorded and blade attachment is processed in compliance with the fixed profile as per the installation coordinates. Device includes computer, contactless laser measuring unit, and workpiece arrangement device on the bed frame of which there are workpiece fixation stops. At that, on the base of the device and side surfaces of bed frame there located are adjustable stops moved in axial direction and spring-loaded stops are located on opposite sides.

EFFECT: increasing labour capacity, reducing the number of defective blades of GTE and improving labour conditions owing to excluding abrasive manual processing of workpiece profile.
