FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of checking profiles of cast blades and profiles of rods. Proposed device contains base 1, measuring elements 10 designed for contacting from two sides with object under checking, checking object location unit arranged stationary on carriage 2 installed for reciprocation in parallel with base, standard 16 for object which is also mounted on carriage. Four differential inductive pickups 10 are used as measuring elements. Said pickups are interconnected so that any two pickups can displace along standard and checking object at one side, and two others, at other side. Location unit has fixed position of sections. For this purpose carriage is provided with locks 14, and base is provided with holes for locks. Differential inductive pickups 10 can travel on rollers 11 along posts under action of cable passing through pulley of shaft and pulley of reversible motor installed on base 1.
