FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: system for environmental monitoring and predicting air pollution of an industrial region comprises sensors for measuring concentration of pollutants directly from pollution sources and a weather station, connected to a simulation centre which is connected to a data processing and comparing centre. High-speed gas sensors for environmental monitoring of the condition of the atmosphere and a GPS system are connected through a mobile telephone system to the data processing and comparing centre. The first groups of environmental monitoring sensors are connected to the data processing and comparing centre. The second groups of environmental monitoring sensors are wirelessly connected to the city telephone network. The output of the central dispatcher station is connected to a time setter which is connected to a unit for simulating meteorological parameters and is connected to the input of time-parametric setters of concentration of pollutants from pollution sources, which are connected to the simulation centre. The unit for simulating meteorological parameters is connected to the simulation centre, which is connected to the central dispatcher station and the pollution prediction centre, the output of which is connected to the input of the central dispatcher station.
EFFECT: high efficiency of obtaining objective information on the environmental situation in an industrial region and prediction of air pollution in an industrial region.
