FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: system has sensors for measuring concentration of pollutants directly from pollution sources, a weather station, a simulation centre, a first data processing and comparing unit, high-speed gas sensors for environmental monitoring of the state of the atmosphere, a GPS system, a mobile telephone system mounted on electric transportation units, a first and a second group of sensors for environmental monitoring of the state of the environment, means for wireless communication of sensors of the second group with urban telephone system equipment and a central control station. The system further includes a data collection centre, a group of virtual sensors of concentration of pollutants, a virtual simulation unit, a second data processing and comparing unit.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the system owing to the introduction of a control process with high accuracy of evaluating control of the air pollution effect.
