FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: for this purpose, 5-6 hours before and 30-50 min after extreme loads with the use of a face mask of an anaesthesia apparatus or with the use of a portable inhaler, a patient is exposed to a gas mixture of xenon, helium and oxygen. The mass ratio of xenon, helium and oxygen in the mixture makes (10-20):(30-40):(50-60) respectively. The exposure is applied at least 2-3 min before the onset of euphoria.
EFFECT: method enables effective and fast increase of sportsmen performance capability ensured by exposure to the gas mixture with certainly selected gas ratio.
