FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device has at least one filter element (172) for separating overspray from a stream (120) of crude gas and at least one reservoir (176) for receiving filter aid material which enables to feed the aid material to at least one filter element using a simple and efficient method without the aid material falling into the coating zone, wherein the stream of crude gas entraps wet lacquer overspray. To this end, the filter device (132) has at least one inlet hole (212) through which the stream (120) of crude gas enters the filter device (132) directed into the reservoir (176) for receiving aid material.
EFFECT: filter device is meant for separating wet lacquer overspray from a stream of crude gas containing overspray particles.
