SUBSTANCE: invention relates to varnishing units and may be used for vanishing car bodies by spraying. Proposed unit 102 comprises, at least, one varnishing cabin 11 and, at least, one device 126 to withdraw paint mist produced by liquid varnish from exhaust air flow 120. Said flow 120 holds paint mist particles that get in exhaust air flow 120 in varnishing zone 108 of aforesaid cabin. Said device 126 comprises, at least, one paint mist catcher 14 and, at least, one recoverable surface filter 146. Exhaust air path from paint application zone and said catcher comprises at least one tapered section. Device 126 includes deflecting elements 132 oriented, in fact, horizontally and top sides that make guide surfaces 135 to guide exhaust air to said tapered section 140.
EFFECT: efficient removal of paint mist.
