SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in paint and coatings industry. Paint plant for painting of workpieces (104) includes painting booth (102), transfer device (108), separation and/or filtration unit (106). Separation and/or filtration unit (106) includes, at least, two filtering devices (124), at least, two clean gas lines (160) and clean gas collecting channel (170). Clean gas collecting channel (170) and filtering devices (124) are arranged on opposite sides (128, 130) relative to painting booth (102) vertical longitudinal central plane (126). Painting system (100) operation includes transportation of workpieces (104) through painting booth (102), their painting, supply of non-purified gas stream from painting booth (102) to separating and/or filtering unit (106), separation of paint over-spray from non-purified gas stream. Auxiliary filtration material is loosened and entrained by non-purified gas stream into filtering device (124).
EFFECT: invention allows to create compact unit and provide reliable paint over-spray separation from non-purified gas stream.
