FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, particularly, to iron compositions and may be used in production of handling machinery, car production and machine building. Cast iron comprises the following components in wt %: carbon - 2.5-3.1; silicon - 2.5-3.1; manganese - 2.5-3.1; magnesium - 0.001-0.0014; cerium 0.001-0.0014; aluminium nitrides - 0.02-0.03; boron - 0.09-0.13; copper - 0.9-1.3; vanadium - 0.35-0.45; tin - 0.001-0.0014, iron making the rest.
EFFECT: higher strength.
