FIELD: construction engineering; repair of main pipe lines in water-bearing ground; laying main pipe lines. SUBSTANCE: pipe line is ballasted in trench with fill-up soil kept in longitudinal pots made from flexible material. Pots are located along pipe line at gaps between end walls of longitudinal pots forming cavities free from soil. Interior of trench is covered with flexible coat which is engageable with partitions end walls of longitudinal pots, with side walls of trench, its bottom and pipe line. Free longitudinal and transversal edges of coat are located on berms of trench and on upper surface of longitudinal pots; free longitudinal and transversal edges of coat shall overlap berms of trench and flexible strips. Cavity thus formed is filled with ballasting material which is packed layer by layer, for example, mineral soil at one level with fill-up soil in pots. After filling-up, longitudinal edges are folded at overlap and transversal edges of coat are welded to flexible strips of pots across trench. Then transversal edges are folded and are welded by transversal seams. Soil roll is formed at last stage. EFFECT: increased resistance of soil to washing-out in trench; enhanced ballasting efficiency; enhanced reliability. 3 dwg
