FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to device for ultra high-speed freezing of food products contained in the package divided into sections for open sale, using the liquid nitrogen jet in the amount which is sufficient for ultra high-speed freezing of food products. Liquid nitrogen is spread by gravity from the tank with vacuum insulation at atmospheric pressure through a row of atomisers to the centre of upper surface of each section and performs quick freezing of the content of an individual section. The produced gaseous nitrogen is used for formation of practically oxygen-free air medium that is rather cold for maintaining the freezing process after liquid nitrogen has been distributed.
EFFECT: proposed treatment reduces the need for liquid nitrogen in comparison to other freezing methods, as well as the need for personnel, service and physical space, which are required for operation of the plant, which leads to reduction of costs.
