FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and use of underground and surface structures and can be used to study the structure and modern geodynamics of the earth's crust and predicting the degree of activation of deformation processes, which is vital when evaluating geodynamic hazard of objects used in searching, exploring and exploiting mineral deposits, for example oil and gas deposits. Said technical result is achieved due to that in the method of identifying geodynamic hazard zones of structures, wherein ground and/or satellite repeated geodetic measurements of the earth's surface are taken in observation stations, modern vertical and horizontal displacements are simultaneously measured with error (m) of not more than 5 mm per 1 km; the amplitude of vertical Δh and horizontal ΔL anomalous displacements of the earth's surface is determined in mm and if Δh>m and ΔL>m, the value of relative vertical deformations is determined relative horizontal deformations; the annual average rate of relative vertical deformations and the annual average rate of relative horizontal deformations are determined and indicates geodynamic hazard of the structure lying on that area of the earth's surface, and the geodynamic hazard of surface structures is evaluated from the condition: Ur>εon·L.
