SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of monitoring development of oil and gas deposits. Method involves construction of a geodynamic polygon with arrangement of working bench marks of the polygon in the area of the controlled deposit and reference bench marks outside the boundary of the deposit beyond the zone of influence of the deposit development process on the surrounding water pressure system. Besides, it includes measurement of elevation position of working reference points before and at regular intervals in the process of deposit development and determination of ground surface subsidence value above it. As working reference points of the geodynamic polygon there used are wellhead equipment of production and observation wells in the area of the controlled deposit. For reference points there used are wellhead equipment of observation wells beyond the deposit boundary. Upper plane of the wellhead equipment is used as the controlled level of reference points. During measurement of working reference points altitude position ambient temperature is measured. When determining the working reference points altitude position during the development process, a correction is made taking into account the temperature difference before and during the field development, as well as difference in heights of wellhead valves as adjacent reference points of geodynamic polygon.
EFFECT: lower costs of creating a geodynamic testing ground for an oil and gas field.
