Said technical result is achieved owing to that continuation of the positioning process after switching off or restarting a mobile station enables to significantly reduce use of resources of a mobile positioning centre and a positioning subsystem, and after returning the mobile station to normal mode, resume continuous monitoring, which ensures timely reception by a positioning client the latest location of the mobile station.
EFFECT: improved performance of a positioning system during continuous positioning.
