METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING LOCAL HYPERTHERMIA Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B18/12 A61N7/00

Abstract RU 2467720 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, oncology, and may be used for implementing local hyperthermia. For this purpose, a tumour is localised. Points are marked to introduce heating needles surrounding tumour tissue. Hollow guides are introduced in the marked points of biological tissue and exposed to ultrasonic vibrations at frequency 19-25 kHz and amplitude 3-30 mcm. A distal end of each guide is pointed and hermetically sealed. The guides are introduced into biological tissue. Then, the heating needle is introduced in an internal cavity of each guide through a proximal end. It is followed by cycles of heating and stabilising at pre-set temperature of each heating needle.

EFFECT: method enables providing pre-set, uniform and stable heating temperature in the required volume of a local area of biological tissue and stabilising temperature with reducing a negative effect of the introduced heating needles on healthy tissue, providing higher clinical effectiveness, ensured homeostasis due to vascular coagulation within the exposure area, reducing blood loss and pain sensations, enabling faster wound canal healing.
