FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: belt accumulator comprises, for each belt 7, several rollers 1 enveloped by belt arranged in one plane and sequentially space apart along the line. Belt tension increase is ensured by seat 3 smoothly enveloped by belt. Note here that seats are interconnected by frame 5 whereto suspended is weight 6. Seat surface interacting with belt may be furnished with first friction element 4. Seat may be provided with strap 8 to displace on belt opposite side and to be pressed toward seat. Note here that strap surface facing the belt is furnished with second friction element 11. Said seat may be composed of elastic wire spiral with lengthwise opening to receive the belt.
