FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of dehydroaromatisation of methane in order to obtain liquid aromatic compounds and hydrogenated derivatives. The method involves bringing methane, in a reactor, into contact with a circulating fluidised bed which contains a dehydroaromatisation catalyst in conditions which are sufficient for dehydroaromatisation of methane and obtaining at least one liquid aromatic compound and hydrogen. The catalyst contains montmorillonite, a non-zeolite molybdenum compound and at least one zeolite which contains at least one element selected from a group consisting of chromium, molybdenum, iron, cobalt, nickel, zinc, rhenium, ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, osmium, iridium, platinum, tungsten and vanadium. The invention also relates to methods of producing cyclohexane and decahydronaphthalene using the method described above.
EFFECT: invention provides a method which operates in stable operating conditions with low capital costs on implementation.
