FIELD: production of hydrocarbons.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of hydrocarbons from hydrocarbons with fewer carbon atoms per molecule. The invention relates to a method of producing middle distillates from light alkanes, comprising the steps of catalytically converting light alkanes in a catalytic plant. Using the first catalytic reactor, at the first stage, a mixture of methane, ethane, propane, butane, pentane is subjected to catalytic dehydroaromatization at temperatures of 350-500°C in the presence of nano- and microporous zinc- and indium-containing aluminosilicates to obtain a mixture of benzene derivatives and polyaromatic compounds of the naphthalene series, and the partial pressure of methane is from 1 to 3 atmospheres; then the C8+ fraction of the mixture, hydrogen- and methane-containing fractions of the mixture are isolated from a mixture of benzene derivatives and polyaromatic compounds of the naphthalene series. With the help of the second catalytic reactor, at the second stage, the isolated C8+ fraction of the mixture, hydrogen- and methane-containing fractions of the mixture are subjected to catalytic hydroprocessing. At the third stage, the target fraction of middle distillates is isolated from the final reaction mixture using at least one of the rectification unit, the extraction unit, the freezing unit.

EFFECT: reduction in energy costs for the process of obtaining middle distillates from light alkanes and a simultaneous increase in the selectivity of obtaining the desired fraction of hydrocarbons.
