METHOD OF FIXATION WITH TAPES FOR DISPOSABLE GAS MASK PROVIDING FOR IMPROVED WEAR Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A62B18/00

Abstract RU 2468843 C2

FIELD: fire-prevention facilities.

SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to a disposable gas mask. The gas mask comprises the following: the main part, the first fastening component with an eye and the second fastening component with an eye and a tape. The main part is arranged as capable of covering a mouth and a nose of a gas mask user, and has the first lateral side and the second opposite side. The first fastening component with an eye is connected with the first lateral side of the main part. The second fastening component with an eye is connected with the second lateral side of the main part. The first and second fastening components with eyes independently comprise the first slot and the second slot. The second slot is arranged laterally closer to an eye of a user compared to the first slot. The tape is connected to the first fastening component with an eye and the second fastening component with an eye. The second fastening component with an eye comprises an adjustment element, which may be adjusted for adjacency of a gas mask to a user's head. The tape covers the user's head by means of adjustable fixation of buttonholes via the first fastening component with an eye between tape ends. Both ends stretch around a user's head to the second fastening component with an eye, where both ends of the tape are pulled with the possibility of adjustment via the second fastening component with an eye.

EFFECT: disposable gas mask facilitates putting on and increases comfort in wear, and also provides for tight adjacency to a mouth and a nose of a user.
