FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of composites based on reinforcing fibers, binder and filler to be used in production of structural materials for aircraft and aerospace engineering, machine building, etc. Proposed method comprises impregnating reinforcing fibers with epoxy polymer binder and modifying polymer binder by carbon nanotubes (CNT). Modification is carried out in CNT disaggregation by ultrasound in solvent, mixing and homogenisation of obtained dispersion with binder to remove solvent and add hardening agent. After said impregnation, CNT are oriented at 90° to fiber laying direction by electric field with frequency of 0-30 kHz and intensity of 20-150 V/mm to generate 30-50 mcV current in polymer matrix. Invention covers also the composite thus produced.
EFFECT: higher resilience and strength in transversal direction.
