FIELD: composite materials production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of composite materials consisting of a reinforcing material, a polymer matrix and a filler, in the role of which are carbon nanotubes and can be used in the creation of composite materials with increased strength due to the use of a uniform electric field that destroys the agglomerates of carbon nanotubes and orients the nanotubes. An installation for the production of a polymer composite material based on oriented carbon nanotubes has been developed, consisting of a container with a binder, an impregnating bath connected to it, a spool containing a reinforcing material for passing through the impregnating bath, and a mandrel for winding the resulting composite material.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of orientation of carbon nanotubes due to perpendicular plates location to the movement of the reinforcing material, which will increase the tensile strength.
