FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: proposed elevator may be used for transfer of invalids over staircases. Elevator comprises tubular guide, carriage with top and bottom semi-rollers, and suspension with armchair. Bottom semi-rollers are engaged with drive and equipped with friction liners to interact with guides while top and bottom semi-rollers can perform angular displacement relative to each other. Tubular guide is attached by ledge with shaped slot made in guide top section. Note here that lateral surfaces of said guide can interact with flanges on top semi-rollers.
