FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a complex of rare-earth elements of general formula [Ln(L1)4]-M+, where Ln is an ion of a trivalent rare-earth element, e.g., Nd, Pr, Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy, Ho, Tm, Er, Yb; L1 is a diketonate ligand which is a derivative of 1,3-dipyrazolyl propanediol-1,3 of general formula where R1, R3 denote an alkyl, fluoroalkyl, aryl, cycloalkyl or heterocyclic substitute, R2, R4 denote a hydrogen atom, alkyl, fluoroalkyl, aryl, cycloalkyl or heterocyclic substitute, a halogen atom, a CF3 or NO2 group, wherein conjugation of the diketone fragment can be carried out symmetrically or asymmetrically at position 3, 4 or 5 of each pyrazole ring, M+ is a monovalent cation of an alkali metal, e.g., Li, K, Na, Rb, Cs, an NH4 + ion, a residue of a quaternary ammonium base, e.g., +N(Me)4, +N(Et)4, +N(Bu)4, a pyridinium cation or a secondary amine cation, e.g., piperidinium or pyrrolidinium, or a tertiary amine, e.g., triethylammonium or trimethylammonium. There is also methed of producing complex.
EFFECT: complexes have high luminescence intensity and can be used in electro-optical devices.
