FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to use of luminescent complex compounds of rare-earth metals as radiation-resistant luminescent materials. Complex compounds of rare-earth metals are described: La, Ce, Nd, Sm, Eu, Tb, Yb with organic ligands, such as benzoxazolyl-phenol (a), benzothiazolyl-phenol (b), benzoxazolyl-naphthol (c), benzothiazolyl-naphthol (d), pentafluorophenol (e), 1-trifluoromethyl-3-thionyl-1,3-diketone (f) and mercaptobenzothiazole (g), operating under conditions of pulsed and stationary ionizing gamma-neutron radiation. Total absorbed dose of radiation of said compounds varies within range of 2.6⋅4Us-0.6⋅5Us at neutron fluence in range of 4Us-2.2⋅5Us.

EFFECT: luminescent material based on said compounds for optoelectronic articles has effective luminescence in the infrared and visible spectral areas before and after exposure to high intensity of gamma-neutron radiation of the fission spectrum.
