FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for obtaining charcoal is implemented by charring of wood raw material in furnace under dome of arch-type oven 3 without any air access; transfer of heat energy for burning of wood raw material is performed from surface of reactor 4, which is located inside arch-type oven 3; charcoal formed during charring of wood raw material is moved along perimetre of arch-type oven 3 in cavity 5 between arch and reactor by pressing owing to proper weight of wood raw material located in loading bunker 2 above oven 3. Method is implemented in the boiler for coal burning, which consists of shell 1, loading bunker 2 for wood raw material and oven; at that, loading bunker 2 is installed above the oven, and oven is made in the form of a dome arch-type oven 3 inside which reactor 4 is located; surface of reactor 4 and inner surface of arch-type oven 3 form cavity 5 in the form of a balance-beam for movement of charcoal formed during charring of wood raw material; at that, one end of cavity 5 is connected to loading bunker 2, and the other ends is connected to charcoal outlet bunker 6.
EFFECT: providing continuous boiler operation for coal charring.
