FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed element has, at least, three positions of throwing in gearbox two stages. In first end position corresponding to first throw-in position gearbox first stage is thrown in. In second end position corresponding to second throw-in position gearbox second stage is thrown in. In medium position corresponding to third throw-in position, both stages are thrown in. Said shifting element represents a sync device or a cam switch. Said sync device comprises clutch case, synchroniser locking rings and synchroniser case. Clutch axial length is changed to allows its medium position to make its inner cam head engaged with outer cam head of both gearbox stages.
EFFECT: compact design, possibility to apply in gearboxes with double clutch.
