FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in approaching through a patient's pharynx. At the level of the V-th cervical vertebral body, a posterolateral pharyngeal wall is dissected to insert an apparatus for creating a surgical space into a lateral peripharyngeal space. The apparatus has a distal portion presented in the form of a folded structure consisting of a system of hinged arms and levers being ribs of a triangular prism formed when unfolding it, as well as a removable proximal portion. The distal portion of the apparatus is unfolded to stretch tissues thereby to form a required area of surgical manipulations. The proximal portion of the apparatus is detached from the distal portion and removed from the pharynx. Said surgical manipulations on neck organs are performed through said opening in the posterolateral pharyngeal wall.
EFFECT: use of the given group of inventions enables approaching the operated neck organs through the pharynx with no postoperative skin cicatrix created.
