FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: lubricating cooling fluid (LCF) is supplied to the processing zone at stages of cutting-in (τ1) and removal of the main part of allowance (τ2). At sparking-out stage (τ3), solid lubricant (SL) is applied in molten state to quickly-rotating grinding wheel (GW). Supplies of LCF and SL are separated in time by introducing the stage of dry allowance removal (τ4). Then, LCF and GW supplies for cutting-in are stopped at the last stroke of GW at stage (τ2) of grinding cycle, and allowance is removed only due to tightening in the process system of the machine. This allows preventing perturbation of contact temperatures at dry grinding during time (τ4) and increasing adhesion of SL to abrasive material by its dehydration.
EFFECT: vibrations in the process system are reduced; the time of working cycle is shortened and quality of completed parts is improved.
