FIELD: machine engineering, namely operations for abrasive working of parts by means of combination type abrasive wheels. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of successively performing multistage grinding cycle by means of abrasive wheel; using impregnated grinding wheel or wheel with radial passages, grooves, slits or through axial ducts filled with grease or plastic lubricant. In-feed step is realized by means of combination type grinding wheel without supplying cutting fluid. At step of rough and(or) finish grinding water cutting fluid with good washing and cooling properties is used. Dwelling step is realized without feeding water cutting fluid but feeding hot air onto working surface of grinding wheel just near contact zone of wheel and blank. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of grinding, high quality of ground blank due to possibility of rapidly achieving optimal temperature at in-feed step. 2 cl, 3 dwg
