FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing clinker from a crude mixture involves heating the crude mixture with flue gases, precalcination of the crude mixture, calcination of the crude mixture precalcinated in a rotary kiln in which flue gases containing CO2 are formed during precalcination and calcination in the rotary kiln. Flue gases formed during precalcination undergo treatment to remove CO2 without mixing said gases with flue gases formed during calcination in the rotary kiln. Precalcination gases are fed for contact heating of the crude mixture and flue gases formed during calcination in the rotary kiln are either removed from the process into a heat regenerating assembly without touching the heated crude mixture or precalcination products, or at least their portion is used for indirect heating of the treated mixture.
EFFECT: reducing CO2 emission while reducing expenses for removal thereof.
