In the device for heating water comprising the housing which encloses the space for water, and the inlet for water inlet into the housing. The space of the housing comprises two separate sections, and the first section is made with the ability to receive supply of fresh water in the steam generator, while the second section is made with the ability to receive water from the first section, when there is an overflow of the first section as a result of a continuous supply of fresh water. The process of steam generation occurs in the second section. Due to the fact that the second section is filled with water only indirectly, a continuous process can be provided. In particular, the water can be heated in the first section before entering the second section. The first section can comprise the internal space of the capacity, which, for example, is located inside the housing.
