SUBSTANCE: invention is related to hydrotechnical construction, namely, artificial breakwaters. A stop block (100) comprises a central rectangular section (101), having a central extended axis, the first pair of sides parallel to each other and the specified central axis, the second pair of sides parallel to each other and the specified central extended axis and perpendicular to the first pair of sides; and a pair of ends, one close and the other one remote relative to the specified central axis, besides, ends are parallel to each other and are perpendicular to the specified central extended axis and each of the first and second pair of sides; and the first regular truncated pyramids (103). Each first regular truncated pyramid (103) has a rectangular cross section near the close base, matching with the specified side, on which there is the first regular truncated pyramid (103), and a smaller rectangular cross section on its remote base, determined by the angle α, an angle of even narrowing of each face of the first regular truncated pyramid (103) from the central rectangular section, and height d, of the first regular truncated pyramid (103), in which one first regular truncated pyramid (103) matches each end, and at least two such first regular truncated pyramids (103) match with each side, at least on three of the specified four sides.
