FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for edge sealing of vacuum insulation glass panes (VIG)/ The method to manufacture a window vacuum insulation glass pane (VIG), includes edge sealing of the first and second glass substrates substantially spaced in parallel with a glass sealant arranged at least partially between the first and second glass substrates. Previous heating of substrates and glass sealant is carried out, at least to one intermediate temperature, at the same time each intermediate temperature during preliminary heating is below the melting point of the first and second substrates and below the melting point of the glass sealant. Local infrared radiation (IR) of the near infrared range is provided at the wave length of the near infrared range of around 1.1-1.4 mcm close to edge sections to be sealed, for provision of local temperature of around 350-500°C for partial melting of glass sealant so that at least some areas that are not near to edge sections are sealed and maintained at the temperature below the melting temperature of glass sealant, further the glass sealant is cooled, and its hardening is provided, to manufacture a window vacuum insulation glass pane (VIG).
EFFECT: invention will make it possible to provide for soundproof edge sealing between opposite glass sheets.
