SUBSTANCE: domestic electrical appliance (1) comprises a body (2); a driving drum (3) for linen for drying installed inside as capable of rotation around its longitudinal axis (L); a heater (5); at least two passive electric elements (15) to scatter the specified electrical power (PE) in the form of heat for heating of air supplied into the drum (3) to the specified temperature (t); and an electronic control device (20). The electronic control device (20) is arranged as capable of controlling operation of an electric motor to rotate the drum (3) in the first direction (D1) at the specified first speed (V1) of rotation or the second direction (D2) opposite to it at the specified second speed (V2) of rotation, which differs from the first one, and with the possibility to control passive electrical elements (15) so that electric power (PE) they scatter in the form of heat in each of two directions (D1, D2) of rotation is different. Also the method is described for operation of this domestic electrical appliance.
