FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: device includes at least two receivers-transmitters (1) located at some distance from each other, near pipeline or on it. Method consists in the fact that data signal on the state of device (18), which is shaped with the first receiver-transmitter (1) when passing by it, is transmitted to at least one and the other receiver-transmitter. Data signal transmitted with the first receiver-transmitter is provided with accurate data on location of the device; that signal is further transmitted through at least one and the other receiver-transmitter in interface direction. Then, signal is supplied through interface for processing of information, which is performed in near-real time mode, and which is extracted from data signal on the state of maintenance device, to dispatch control and data acquisition dispatch system (SCADA system).
