FIELD: communication.
SUBSTANCE: electronic communication device comprises: a circuit configured to communicate with a roadside unit (RSU), a base station and/or other electronic device mounted on a moving object; receiving from base station or RSU unit parameters for intermittent machine-to-machine (D2D) communication with other electronic device, where the set of said parameters contains information, indicating resource pool used to implement D2D-connection from time to time with other by electronic device; intermittent D2D communication with another electronic device based on parameters, received from base station or RSU unit, in which parameters contain information identifying several groups, to one of which belongs electronic communication device, wherein each group has different parameters, other than the other groups, for performing intermittent D2D communication.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to reduce power consumption in a communication device.
