FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: selection is made as per value of time interval between moments of occurrence and detection on radar for determination of moment of command output for launching of protective ammunition of signals with frequency 3Fdo=6Vofo/C, where C - light velocity, Vo - radial velocity of protective ammunition, fo- average frequency of emitted continuous signal with frequency modulation as per one-sided saw-like linearly increasing law. The proposed device for determination of protective ammunition subject to launching includes radar determining the moment of command output for launching of protective ammunition, the second transmitting antenna, time interval metre, decoder, shift register, delay element, as well as, at different target movement velocities, target velocity metre, two read only memories, and multiplication and subtraction circuits.

EFFECT: reduction of mass and dimensions and cost parameters of devices for determination of protective ammunition subject to launching.
