FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: device (12) includes: a wheel (10) with a tyre in an assembly comprising a wheel (16) and a tyre (18) held on the outer surrounding section of the wheel (16); and a support element (20) for the wheel, which supports the wheel (16) through a wheel supporting part (28) with possibility of rotation. The device also includes: an elastic body (32) lying between the wheel (16) and the wheel supporting part (28). The elastic body (32) has column-like parts (32A), each resting, at their opposite ends, on the wheel (16) and the wheel supporting part (28), and a plate-like part (32B) which is integrated with the column-like parts and going round the column-like parts. There is also devices for determining stress which determine stress applied to the elastic body by determining deformation of the plate-like part, and a device (50) with an electronic circuit which calculates the force acting on the tyre based on the determined stress.

EFFECT: high accuracy of determining force acting on a tyre.
