FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: display device 10 includes a plurality of gate signal lines 45, a plurality of data signal lines 43, pixel electrodes 41, holding capacitor lines 46 and a common electrode 36. The data signal lines 43 extend in a direction which crosses the gate signal lines 45. Each pixel electrode 41 is surrounded by gate signal lines 45 and data signal lines 43. The holding capacitor lines 46 are such that holding capacitances appear between pixel electrodes 41 and holding capacitor lines 46. The common electrode 36 is placed such that it lies opposite pixel electrodes 41. Current-conducting parts 48 are provided in gate signal lines 45 or holding capacitor lines 46 between adjacent pixel electrodes. The current-conducting parts 48 are electrically insulated from the pixel electrodes 41 and are electrically connected to at least one of the gate lines 45, holding capacitor lines 46 and the common electrode 36.
