SUBSTANCE: method of wireless communication includes stages, at which the following is carried out: a channel is scanned according to the first working cycle during the first working state; a channel is scanned according to the second working cycle during the second working state, at the same time the second working cycle is reduced compared to the first working cycle; a channel is scanned according to the third working cycle during the third working state, at the same time the third working cycle is reduced compared to the second working cycle; paging messages are received from multiple units within a specified period of time; and one response is sent to paging messages.

EFFECT: reduction of consumed power of wireless devices without considerable impact at communication efficiency.
