SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of processing plant cultivation products and may be used for processing cereal crops and leguminous crops seeds during production of food products as well as fodder components and fodder additives for farm animals and birds. In the course of the method implementation one performs thermal treatment of seeds by way of staged heating with subsequent moistening and cooling of thermally inactivated seeds, primary seeds milling, secondary moistening and secondary seeds milling. In the process of thermal treatment seeds are relocated at a constant rate in the vertical direction. The last heating stage temperature is equal to 101 - 170°C. After passage through the chillier the product temperature is below 50°C. After the moistening stage the moisture content in the product is equal to 6 - 13 %. Cereal crops seeds content is equal up to 20 wt %. Moistening is performed with water or a water-containing preparation. The thermally treated product is represented by a mixture of cereal crops and leguminous crops seeds treated by the said method.
EFFECT: invention ensures the possibility to produce cereal crops and leguminous crops seeds with low content of anti-nutritional substances combined with high content of accessible amino acids and protein.
