FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pharmaceutical and food industries, in particular, to production of biologically active substances compositions that may be used as biologically active substances. One proposes a method for production of gamma glycine from a water solution. The method is as follows: glycine is recrystallised in a water solution in the process of addition of 10-40 mole % of dicarboxylic apple or amber acid into the solution.
EFFECT: invention allows to simplify gamma glycine production and expand the biologically active food substances range.
