FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used in examination of lachrymal tract (LT). For this purpose, first, external examination, biomicroscopy, tear-absorbing and lachrymonasal colour tests, test on colour solution reflux are carried out, coefficient of balance (CB) of lachrymal system is determined, passive permeability of LT is determined by washing. After that, multispiral computed tomography (MSCT) is performed by introduction of radiopaque preparation (RP) by instillation or by means of cannula with further construction of multiplanar reformatted images. If in external examination and biomicroscopy conjunctival region, eyelids, lachrymal points and region of LT have no peculiarities, tear-absorbing colour test is delayed or positive, lachrymonasal colour test is negative, test on colour solution reflux is negative, CB displays latent or subcompensatory stage of lachrymal fluid outflow disorder, LT passive permeability is negative, MSCT is carried out by instillation of RP into conjunctival sac. If pathological changes of eyelids, conjunctival cavity and lachrymal points are detected, tear-absorbing and lachrymonasal colour tests are negative, test on colour solution reflux is positive, CB displays subcompensatory or decompensatory stage of lachrymal fluid outflow disorder, LT passive permeability is negative, MSCT is carried out by introduction of RP into LT by means of cannula via one of lachrymal canaliculi. If conjunctival cavity, eyelids and region of LT have no peculiarities, lachrymal points are narrowed, tear-absorbing colour test is delayed or negative, lachrymonasal colour test is negative, test on colour solution reflux is negative, CB displays latent or subcompensatory stage of lachrymal fluid outflow disorder, LT passive permeability is negative, MSCT is carried out by instillation of RP into conjunctival sac after pre-expansion of lachrymal points by means of probe. If stenosis of lachrymal points and delayed or negative test are detected, first, expansion of lachrymal point by means of probe is carried out, after which tear-absorbing test is re-performed.

EFFECT: method ensures carrying out MSCT with taking into account functional state, anatomical structure of eye, isolated or combined pathology of LT links and determination of differentiated method of RP introduction during MSCT for diagnostics of LT diseases.
