FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protective materials to be adhered to transport facility for protection of painted surface and may be used for protection of plating lines in re-painting transport facilities. Tension protective material consists of two separate tension sections resisting material contraction arranged one opposite the other. Lengthwise edges of layers are interconnected along stretching opposite material layers. Air gap is arranged between said two layers. Protective material features stretching cross-section. Said inner air gap opens at contraction of material on opposite sides to decrease material cross-section. Proposed method allows making polymer film with two webs. The latter are located opposite each other and coated from outside. Method comprises also contraction and welding two webs together along two parallel lines at definite distance.
EFFECT: smooth, regular and accurate painting.
