FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nonferrous metallurgy and may be used for production of contact welding electrodes, heat exchangers, etc. Sheet billet is produced from alloy of preset chemical composition by centrifugal casting. Tube billet is cast to preset diameter, length and wall thickness. Wall thickness varies from 10 to 50 mm, diameter varies from 170 to 1200 mm while length varies from 170 to 4000 mm. Tube billet cooled down, it is cut along lengthwise axis and straightened to flat sheet with dimensions.

EFFECT: large-size sheet billets, particularly, from low-alloyed heat-and electrically-conducting heat resistance copper based alloy.
