SUBSTANCE: baking oven for baking food, preferably used for household, comprises an inner chamber (2) designed to accommodate the baked food products, the means (40) of creation of at least one flame for baking, which are in thermal contact with the inner chamber (2), a user interface (51) designed for selecting the program for baking in accordance with the type of the food products baked in the inner chamber (2), or the types of the food products baked in it simultaneously, and an electronic unit (53) which accepts from the user interface (51) the information about the selected program of baking and controls at least one part of the said means (40) of creation of at least one flame. In accordance with the program of baking selected by the user interface (51), the said electronic unit (53) provides a time sequence of switching on/off of at least one part of the said means (40) of creation of at least one flame.

EFFECT: simplified operation of switching on, regulation and switching off of different gas burners while ensuring even baking food products when baking simultaneously on two separate shelves.
