FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method is realised by using in the television camera a series-connected differential amplifier and an electrochromic device based light-regulating cell which lies on the optical section between the first output of a beam splitter and a photo target of a first sensor. The level of the maximum charge relief on the photo target of the first sensor is controlled through a feedback circuit: video signal of the first sensor - output voltage of the peak detector - output voltage of the differential amplifier - transmission coefficient of the light-regulating cell - illumination of the CCD matrix. The result is achieving an equilibrium state of the CCD matrix of the first sensor, wherein its drain region successively manages output of excessive charge, and blurring of its video signal outside the "window" and, consequently, the output composite image of the television camera, does not occur.
EFFECT: preventing blooming of the output composite image outside the window with maximum possible illumination of the transmitted scene by eliminating causes of a level of accumulated charge in a photodetector higher than the acceptable level.
