SUBSTANCE: method is realised by including into the television camera a light-regulating cell which is based on an electrochromic device, a unit for controlling said cell, a "window" signal generator and "AND" and "OR" elements in a composite image former. In the frame "window" - a predetermined region of ultrahigh (maximum) illumination on the photo-target of a CCD matrix, an undistorted level of charge relief for that area is guaranteed. The effect of maximum illumination on the process of charge accumulation on the rest of the area of the photo-target is simultaneously excluded.
EFFECT: preventing blooming of a video signal with a predetermined region of high illumination of the photodetector.
