FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method is realised by using in the television camera a light-regulating cell which is based on an electrochromic device, a "frame" and "window" signal generator, a video mixer, an AND element and an OR element, and using in the communication line between the television camera and the computer two additional cable conductors for connecting the "Overload/Normal" signal output on the computer to the input of that signal in the television camera and the "Window" signal output of the television camera to the input of that signal on the computer.

EFFECT: preventing blooming of a video signal in both images with a predetermined region of high illumination of the photodetector.
